Rissim Contemporary is pleased to announce our participation in CIMB Art&Soul 2023, marking a return after the success of last year's premier Contemporary Art Fair. Our presentation features a diverse lineup of young and emerging Malaysian artists, including our first showcase of Fauzan Fuad (b. Kuala Lumpur, 1987) and Ong Pei Yee (b. Selangor, 1999), alongside the more established works of Fadhli Ariffin (b. Perak, 1989) and Engku Iman (b. Kuala Lumpur, 1990). Together, these artists intertwine past and present, exploring facets of identity and transformation. Our presentation invites the audience to experience the dynamic and ever-evolving landscape of contemporary Malaysian art.
CIMB Artober was established in 2020 as the first ever art and culture campaign created by a financial institution. This year, CIMB Artober 2023 is in its fourth instalment and offers a line-up of exhibitions to promote art appreciation, intellectual engagement and interest amongst art lovers to develop the Malaysian art ecosystem. CIMB Artober Art & Soul will launch from 6th to 8th October 2023 at Hall 1, MITEC Kuala Lumpur.
